Is Carly Smithson going to be your next American Idol for 2008? We will be updating you and following Carly while she tries to become this years american idol
Carly Smithson grew up as Carly Hennessey in Dublin Ireland, When she married she took on the last name of Smithson. She had a singing talent very early on in her lifetime, she also modeled as a young teen but that isnt what she had a passion for. She really wanted to become a singer. Carly at one time did have a record and an album, sadly they didnt do very well for her. Carly also tried out for american idol and made it to Hollywood in season 5 but she wasnt able to go because her visa didnt go though in time, it was heartbreaking for her. You know what they say the third time is the charm!!!
